Epic will mock Apples most iconic ad as possible revenge

Hot on the heels of Apple banning Fortnite from the App Store, Epic Games has introduced that it’ll premiere a brand new quick movie inside the game known as Nineteen Eighty-Fortnite, in an apparent parody of Apple’s iconic 1984 commercial that launched the unique Macintosh computer.

The authentic commercial, directed by Ridley Scott, portrayed Apple (and the Macintosh) as a rebellious upstart, prepared to problem the established order with the tagline “you’ll see why 1984 received’t be like ‘1984,” — referencing the traditional dystopian novel by George Orwell the place the world is dominated by totalitarian super-states and freedom of thought is forbidden.
