Activision lastly confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War with a teaser video, teeing up an announcement subsequent week. But the corporate is not going into full radio silence till then, as Treyarch has now launched a chunk of key artwork.
The paintings reveals gruff-looking troopers on each side of the battle, American and Soviet, overlayed with varied items of printed propaganda. This is comparable in tone to the teaser video, which featured real-life KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov speaking about energetic measures to destabilize governments.
Aside from the artwork, the tweet from Treyarch merely reiterates the reveal date of August 26 that was already introduced. That announcement promised that the reveal will happen in Verdansk, the fictional metropolis that serves because the map for Call of Duty: Warzone.
